I am the head detailer for our Chevy store, I usually do all the PDI's for us, except for anything that requires a lift. Stickers (most) front brackets, battery testing, and most other LPO"s they have.

Hey dave, thank you for sharing. I don't know of too many salesmen of any automobile brand that could compete with your product knowledge. The fact that corporate bean counters often overlook is the taste left in your mouth that never goes away if they refuse your bonus which you have surely earned, over the matter you described. There's a dichotomy. On Toyota lots, the cheaper (well priced) stuff flies off the lot. The overpriced junk like Tundras and Tacomas rot. I suspect that is true with other brands.

Funny thing is last night I almost ran out of gas in the Vette because I'm not used to the inconveniences of having to fuel up. EV so much easier, plug in at home work takes 10 seconds.. battery always full

I would think that when you go to RDR the new car that they would have a spot in there for business or personal use. That way they would know that it is either business or personal use and they could waive the app for businesses however, I could see a business owner wanting to use the app to track the vehicle if it is not being driven by the business owner it really is a Catch-22.

Dave - just a quick comment on your new DC Fast Charging dispenser. There are no "level 3" dispensers - there are AC levels 1 & 2 and DC Fast Charging. And with AC levels 1 & 2 the "charger" is in the car not the dispenser. Unfortunately it got cut short due to the weather. Summit got 7" of snow overnight so they turned us around at about the 7.5 mile mark for a total of 15 miles. I'll probably go back next year since I didn't actually accomplish the full distance and full climb to the summit.

If I was in the market for a Trax I think I would want a lease. They are nice cars for the money, but I have some concerns about the drivetrain. I'm sure it will last 3 years, though. :))

Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe the salesperson is a hard worker ?? I’ve worked in car sales for 5+ years now, and the guys that make good $$, work their butts off. 6 days a week, and it’s not uncommon to work 12 hour shifts. Instead of commenting on KZbin and complaining, you could go out and get the exact same job! 90% of dealerships are hiring for salespeople right now!
