HI Dave. Enjoyed that video. I used to work on a plant nursery situated in the old walled garden of Pylewell House. On the map it's an oval shape just to the North East. There were old, overgrown wall-trained fruit trees laden with fruit that fell on the ground and attracted swarms of hornets. They would get drunk on the fermenting plums and drone around at low level, very alarming!

Another cracking video, Dave. Really found the RAF Lymington stuff very interesting. Great to see Logan adding a bit of slapstick to proceedings, too. As always, now looking forward to the next on. Best wishes - Ric

Thanks Ric. Thankfully I was able to give Logan a "clean" in the sea before getting back into the car! Thank you for watching.

Thank you Dave and Logan, I remember my father talking about the airfield, he was contracted to help clear the tracking from the site. So I found your walk very interesting. Take care.

Nice walk Dave, one of my favourite places along the north Solent shore. The muddy spot is very important, it keeps that area a bit quieter. Good bit of history I must have a look at that memorial gate by the church. Thanks Dave.

Thanks Peter. Although it really wasn't on the walk route itself, I thought that it was worth having a look at as there were a few interesting aspects to it - particularly the gate.

Hello Dave. How did Logan get in that state? Running through the mud? Tanners Lane was the only public access to the beach if I recall. Not easy to park the car down there, due to lack of space. I lived at Sowley from 1995 to 1999 and the estate actually had their own private little beach for the farm staff. It was opposite Sowley pond. I’ve visited the grounds of Pyewell house. When I was a member of the camera club , we asked the owners if we could come in and take photographs. That crop with the blue flowers was linseed (flax). There is quite a lot being grown this year. Thanks for the video.

Thanks Lionel. We were going through a shaded wood and Logan managed to find a deep muddy part of the track!

Thanks Dave. A very interesting walk fascinating with the USAAF former airfield at Lymington. Did Logan get his bath?

Thanks Al. Even though he had a dip in the sea at the end, he did have a bath when he got home!
