Hi Dave. Just found out about ya, and I've been watching all of your videos. Your my new fav artist btw. QUESTION: perhaps maybe even a video could be done on this but, what's your method behind selecting brush size when doing your line art? I see the brush size changing constantly during this stage.

First, thanks so much for your videos and brushes! I saw your other video where you go straight to colors, I wonder what approach do you like more - finishing it with all the right shadows and hightlights in greyscale and then coloring or going straight to colors on top of the layer with unfinished sketch?

Love your work, Dave! What pressure sensitivity do you use? I try to use your brushes but I have a real problem blending with that square brush (DG Main) of yours. Even when I brush the tablet as light as possible it's too heavy.

any trick to use overlay blend layer to not destroy my value layer? I never use overlays for the first step I use color, but colors is muddy in much cases , but keep my value...I am not expert , but I feel very pleased with my self when I finish my values , then I start to feel weak because Not good at color at all ...thx

@@joeerpenbeck7062 blue is better for value range, I mean when you use color mode and overlay , if you convert to blue preserve good value blocking, red is the worst... you can search a youtube channel's video called "a guy with a red pants and yellow t-shirt" something like taht, where explain this concep better than me...
