I've watched so many channels. I can safely that yours is the best and provides some absolute gems. I could clearly see my approach to painting getting more structured and intentional since I started watching your videos.

Thanks for the brushes too. They're wonderful and you've been a blessing.
It’s great. In China, there are almost no great gods who share your painting ideas and processes like this. Looking at your paintings, you can learn a lot. I hope the great gods can do better and better.(google translate).

Awesome! I love watching peices of art being created from the ground up. I need to improve on my line work and initial sketching so this series helps me a lot! I love how you actually take peoples feedback into consideration which changes your peice dramatically, but for the better :). Keep it up! :D

It's getting better and better! Great job Dave! I think that one amazing thing with the video series is work in progress at real speed (which is so fast by the way) so I'm not really for the time lapse thing :) Can't wait for the next vid!

It would be cool if one of the bigger pipes went into his arm piece, into that little circle. Maybe he's some kind of chemic-buffed guy! Maybe give him a scar on the face, he's a lion, so must have been through some battles. Anyway, great work, awesome to see you draw in real time explaining stuff!

This is a great series and such a fun watch! That said, the leg proportions are still throwing me, they just seem so small for such a magnificent and 'kingly' style of chest and upper body. I am envisioning this fellow leaping into the air with his long weapon, but those legs just again, seem so delicate! Regardless, looking forward to the next iteration!

First of all, I am french so sorry for my English :/ Thank you so much for this video! I don't think that lion is angry at all, I feel more like if he were protective. There is no emergency but he is watching for anything. I picture his armor colored of brown and green with yellow lights on the chest and gloves. You really helping me to progress with your videos so thank you for that too!

If you are going for time lapse to avoid hours long video, you could keep yourself in that corner normal speed explaining what you are doing with the piece. Anyway, I am astonished how quickly you work ! Mr. Cooper looks strong.

so how do you know when its time to move on to values? is there a generic rule that all illustrators know or is it subjective to the person? Love watching you draw and that your talking about the drawing. Also would you say you work faster when recording? does know that people are watching mess with your flow? Just curious :) Thanks

My biggest problem currently with art right now is that I get impatient and I get to rush to a compelled work as fast as possible to save time and produce a lot of work. Your videos like this have helped me slow down and have more fun, but god damn I hope I don’t spend a week on line art lol

I’m sorry if I missed this in a different video, but why do you flip the canvas so much? Great videos, learning a lot!
@DaveGreco5 жыл бұрын
It is a great way to reset your brain on analyzing the piece. You are able to identify mistakes alot faster that way! It's like when you take a break from a piece and come back an hour later and notice mistakes right away.. its a quick brain reset! :)

you should add to the title of your videos the name of your character thats being drawn. the one you have new is very generic.
