So did I beat Nic and Dale?!? Dale finished sixth with a time of 6:16 and Nic finished fourteenth with a time of 6:32. If you get creative and apply some sort of golf handicap system where I get time off for being old and having a toddler, I'm pretty sure I won 😁.

Cool trail, I agree with what you said, it's more of a chill race, doesn't seem overly serious like if someone's winning something from it. It didn't seem like anyone was trying their best and being really serious while riding.

Nice to see Dale ride w you. 2 of the best. My trials skills are so much better now. You inspired me to get back to basics and practice my tech in the parking lot and the local skate park. The kids laugh when they see me on a 29er, but I huck to flat into the bowl and gap to the next bowl, and they go wild. Shaking off some bad habits has really translated to results on the trail. Great ride.

Interesting how the chips work. At our enduros they are turned on early in the morning, and automatically start and stop for you. Seems like someone could lose quite a bit of time from a misplacing or something
@ddangerousddave2 жыл бұрын
It's not an ideal scenario, but a new timing system would probably eat into the funds raised for the trails, so there's a trade off. Plus if I'm slow, then I can just blame it on a chip system :p
