You're right. He was declining at an exceptional rate. I believe he had only one lung, and it was being ravaged by cancer. He could barely film a continuous shot and needed oxygen nearby as he could barely finish a sentence. You'd never know something was wrong how he stayed stoic through it all.

Most of the time, they're ineffectual pen pushers whose "success" is based on how skilful they are at selling themselves as a valuable asset. And backstage politicking too. These jagoffs just shrug off when their company are facing downturn, as they get the pleasure to jump off with golden parachutes. That's a two-tier aspect about the capitalistic governance I particularly despise. The peons feel the punishment for failure the hardest, while these overpaid office mini golf players/yacht party goers/secretary doers get rewarded no matter what. They're like Presidents: useless and basically pointed out as a stooge figure taking credit for the combined work of a collective.

In those days, that was just considered another form of humor, and while that doesn't excuse it, it's still a far cry from believing that any race is inherently inferior to another. Roy died exactly five years later same month and 5 days apart on Dec 20, 1971. His son and wife found him on the floor, I believe he had a stroke. A also believe that stress helped kill them both. With cigarettes being the contributing factor for Walt. He smoked several packs a day throughout his life. It is known that cancer feeds off of stress and sugar. He actually looked older than 65. He looked 75. Cigarettes and stress will age you.
