New KCBS/KCAL Studio City Broadcast Center (2007)

A tour of the CBS Studio City Broadcast Center on The CBS Radford Lot (Studio Center) in Los Angeles. This aired just before KCBS/KCAL moved to the new facility in 2007. Dave Malkoff [ DaveMalkoff.com ] reports for CBS2/KCAL9 in Los Angeles

This is why CBS 2 and KCAL 9 were on the move, from its old Columbia Square Studio Facility at 6121 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, to its state of the art facility in the CBS Studio Center at 4200 Radford Avenue in Studio City a Neighborhood of Los Angeles. This is now where the West Coast Television Operations for its CBS Owned Television Stations and other CBS programs and other shows, are now Broadcast from the CBS Studio Center in Studio City, California.

Brings back old memories. CBS has divested itself from radio and is continuing to sell off properties. They have sold Columbia Square, Television City in California and Black Rock in New York. Now they are looking for a buyer for the Radford lot in Studio City. Guess they want out of the real estate business.
