I am impressed with cleanliness in Sri Lanka. These places in South Asia are extremely clean. 1) Sri Lanka 2) Sikkim 3) Bhutan 4) Mizoram I remember Ali visited a ghetto in Colombo, the buildings looked like Tannery Road in Bangalore but the streets were extremely clean. Kudos to Lankans. Also many Indians would have told Dave that he looks like Surya Kumar Yadav.

9:46 If you look carefully, you could see a written statement which is like a tattoo under the covered back window. That is written in Sinhala language( Sri lankan Sinhalese people speak Sinhala) It means "The people who are hesitating to admire you, are rushing to say negative things about you" These kind of statements are commonly can be seen on the tuk tuks. Buses also have them. When I used to go to school with my dad, I was reading them and received so many advices about life.🇱🇰🇱🇰😇

Pettah is definitely the most crowded part in Colombo but if you walk around other parts in cafes you will see it's more quiet. The chaos isn't necessarily everywhere. Anyway love to see where your Sri Lankan travels take you!Happy travelling! OMG I'm looking forward to the hotel video!

Pettah is one of the worst places to visit in Sri Lanka. Many hidden gem locations in Sri Lanka that are better than even famous Ella and other branded locations. Happy exploring next time....

Because Pettah is one of the largest industrial hubs in Srilanka; All the imported goods unloaded from the ships at the harbour are directly transported to and stored in pettah and routed throughout western province through Pettah. It is a highly busy B2B market place. So actually ,it is not a normal area for people to walk through and enjoy, stay,live or work. That is why the foreigners should not picture whole Colombo based on the experience getting from Pettah.

Guys as a localist , i suggest to you travel outside from the colombo , if u guys are beach lovers go Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna, and Arugambay (and more many beaches) and also if you go Mirissa there would be rides for see whales, and if u guys are nature lovers go Ella, Riverston and surround areas of Badulla(take guidence from the hotel manegement where u hope to stay ) , and if u are interested to see Sri lankan old Architecture patterns, Kandy would be better, and u can experience the hindu culture perfectly from Jaffna , finally end of the ur journey if want some peaceful mind , go to the Galle fort in a eve there are so many street foods stalls mixed with colonial culture. So get seat on fort and have some snacks while enjoying the sunset Happy journey ✨️❤
