Hey @davemathewsband I just wanted to reach out and say... my brother dad and I follow your tour every year, and my brother absolutely loves dave. If by some chance you see this, let dave know for my brother Micah that he really changed his life and inspired him to chase his dream. I think part of it is to one day play a song with dave and to be up on stage somewhere. We go to every show within our reach and just share in Daves passionate lyrics. He impacts the lives of all his listeners fans and i'm sure friends. Hopefully one day I would love for him to meet dave. Till then, thank you for the recap of toga, because it was just absolutely amazing. Peace

My sister was the biggest Dave fan Ive ever known. Her license plate was Luv4DMB and a ton of other things. She died of cancer at age 20. I was here as I go every year, Sister is always a hard song for me to get through but it means a ton to me. I miss her so much, she was beautiful inside and out. Dave drew her an amazing sketch and sent it to her when she was sick. Forever grateful. Rest easy sis.

sad story...life isnt fair, but your post showed me 2 things, I - how nice a guy DM is, who took the effort to do that for your sister, and 2- how she lives on in my life now,, sending the light....

I would just like to say....I'm an intern at an agency in NY that places separated children from the border into foster homes until they can be reunited with their families. On night one, Dave gave a little speech about the border situation and then launched into Samurai Cop and I just burst into tears. It was beautiful and now that song holds a special place in my heart.

It's weird, whenever I sink to bed, completely intoxicated, and I don't manage to turn off my laptop beforehand, youtube decides to turn on the Dave Matthews Band. I've never looked for it, and I never listened to it, but it's safe to say that my laptop plays it, whenever I'm asleep.

I had to stop listening to DMB for a few years because of a painful chapter of my life that I had associated with them. Tonight , I put it on and I feel sooooo good about it. Now I only feel sad that I am seeing the band members older, but even more talented-Life is short, and I feel silly for having not listened to them since 2016-ish. I hope they play forever, in order for me to make up for the lost time. :)

DMB is a great band, as we all know, but they also have alot of haters out there. The usual criticisms I see are: Ppl who don't like Dave's voice (I think it's unique & cool), the band does bland middle of the road songs (Not true. They actually have alot of eclectic songs) or becuz they think the band only caters to drunk preppy college kids with bad taste in music (Definitely not true). I'm 48, listen to a great variety of artists/music & know a good band when I hear it. I also see plenty of other middle aged fans in their audience. Anyway, if DMB isn't your thing that's fine but that still doesn't take away the fact that these guys have major chops & are one of the best bands in the last 25 years.

I used to hit up SPAC every year and make it a fun 4 day weekend. Saratoga is awesome, great cliffs, great food, great nature, great people. Last show I saw there was when Trey Anastasio came out for a song or two. My sister was there for both nights this year, and she said it was awesome. After watching this Live stream, I agree. Such an amazing band both in the studio and Live. DMB is such a huge part of my life, ever since they come out on the scene in 1991 (when I was 6). I was lucky enough to grow up with older sisters who turned me on to them at the age of 6. I cannot even count how many shows i've been to at this point, I stopped counting after #41. DMB has gotten me through some pretty tough times in my life, and have enhanced the good, good times. I am eternally grateful for their music, arrangements, voices, and just absolute awesomeness. "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain." Bob Marley (such a beautiful and truthful lyric). Thanks DMB, can't wait to take my son to his first show when he is a little older! Peace and Love:)

starts @10:25. It is the most psychadelic during the #41 Jam, the crowd sings, "I want to thank you for letting me be myself, again!". It's a new idea, jamming with the audience, DMB have done spectacular things, I learn something everytime I hear them, have been to at least 5 shows, it's a gathering of "good" people. This is my definition of music at it's best.

I believe most people would agree, this goes for most live bands.
