I want to personally thank the entire Dave matthews band. The OG 5, Dave, Stefan, carter, Boyd and the late great Leroi Moore. All of you touched my heart with your music, but Leroi was special, you know that. I also have to include Butch Taylor, and of course, the Lovely Ladies. Before these crowded streets was just a beautiful ballad from beginning to end. I haven’t kept up with a lot of the newer songs, but I plan on learning them all and jamming out all summer, just in time for Ocean’s calling in September in Ocean City Maryland, that’s where I live now. It sold out in like 2 hours, of course, but I’ll get some tickets somewhere, and I plan to be close enough to touch all of your hands. So, stay blessed, stay well, and take grace in knowing you may have saved my life with your music, and at the minimum, changed my life forever. I ♥️ DMB. Oh if it’s possible, could you slip in number 41 on the Setlist when you’re here, that’s my favorite. Like Dave said, I wrote 40 ssongs and then I wrote this one. I’ll never forget that. Sometimes I feel as though I’ve lived 40 lives, and this one’s gonna be #41. My encore. Hands and feet are all alike. Yes they are, cry freedom, cry peace. We have not lost our way. GOD walks with us.
