Yeah my theme of life, it describes 50 years and much more. Sometimes I think Nile & Edward wrote this song especially for me. I danced to it in 1979/80 like crazy, I played it at my dj days from 1981 - 1987 a thousand times, I danced to it in the 90's in a new remix and I love this track for more than 36 years without getting bored while listening to it! Yeah it's the theme of my life, I love music and got lost in it!

Wish you were still lost!!!! Particularly with all the garbage that is coming out now. All these 70's music seems so timeless now. Who would hv thought that we were listening to history being made.

too bad this version wasn't out back in 1979. My neighbor use to play this, and all the Chic , Parliament/Funkadelic produced songs with their block parties all summer long back then.

Back then, it was, oh, so easy. In fact, even when things weren't exactly going quite right all one would really have to do was step out to one of the local discos and dance the night away. What's more, it didn't matter what kind of woes you had or what night of the week it was. You simply danced your troubles away to the steady-beat pop music just like everyone else did, even if only for a short while. Today; however, it's another story altogether. For example, local clubs aren’t necessarily a party waiting to happen like the days of ole. Moreover, you're lucky if you even have money enough to live on let alone something like clubbing. Even worse, a lot of folks today don’t have a steady job or a reliable source of income anymore. In sum, things sort of suck for all of us right now to say the least. ☹

Craig West Craig: I think we can also add that it was safer back then. People didn't have to worry about getting shot. I just heard today what happened in the movie theater in Tennessee. Crazy world. I wish we could go back to the 70's-80's.

We are truly lucky to being part of history. It seems that it is all down hill from here. Really feel sorry for the new generation. They just hv their iphones and that is about it.

I like 12 inch mixes but in this case the original is definitely superior. Too much fill in fluff for me and echoed responses etc!

I have to agree.it's to much echo. Love the LP original always.
