Back when we started planning kids, I thought I'd plan for births outside of turkey season and the whitetail rut. The Almighty had other plans and gave me kids in April, May, and November. :)

Indeed..it was definitely a different spring in the southeast here. Woods didn't get green till late. Made for loud walking with the frost and dry leaves. Cold kept them on roost later than normal too it seemed to me.
