The finger picking is such a beautiful piece of music. Somehow your video made me realise even more how amazing it is

My band plays this song and is a favorite to play. It's not an easy to song to play as a band. I often feel that the guitar and bass are doing different things rhythmically. I try to follow the high hat on this one.

Thanks Nathan. No plans for the solo, there is not much to it.

@@DavePriceGuitarist The end solo is very interesting, no one ever does it
@DavePriceGuitarist3 жыл бұрын
@@TheGlassVampire I think the reason is because it relies on feedback at the start. Quite hard to reproduce in a home studio as it requires volume.

Who came up with that melody- Sting or Andy ?
@Fasterrehabfitness10 ай бұрын
Sting, he came up with the arpeggio too

Intro sounds like the bass in the record.

Sounds more like a Flanger indeed.. Not his signature chorus sounds.. Works like magic with those arpeggios.. Great tuto!

Cheers! I am using a flanger for this song.

His signature effect is the Electric Mistress flanger, which sounds like a chorus too.
