I bought their first album shortly after it was available, loved it. A couple of months or so later I saw them at a concert in Memphis, fairly small place that would hold about 2000 people, had good seats, a few months later they came back and I saw them in a small club,it was great. They hit the big time shortly there after.

Always fascinated by a trio of musicians that sound like 4 or 5 on stage. Police, Rush, ZZ Top, etc. Something special about that.

In 1999 I was in NYC, I was about 17. Stewart Copeland walked past me and I said “holy shit it’s Stewart Copeland!” My friend said “who the fuck is Stewart Copeland?” And he turned around and smiled at me. Best celeb interaction of my life.

Underrated song from what I think is the bands best release. Love the energy of the band. Best band ever!

I love Stewart's get-up--Mickey Mouse t shirt, short shorts, and tube socks. It all suits his style of playing. This their best live version of this song.

such a melodically rhythmic band... great live band... no need for gimmicks... so solid

I’m glad I stumbled onto this particular performance. It was outstanding watching the footage of the Police in action during that appearance. I tried paying attention to every beat that Stewart played, the exact sound coming out of Andy’s amplifiers and observing Sting playing that fretless bass of his while he sang the vocal and playing the Taurus pedals.

Best Police song for me too, wonderful writing and musicianship.

What are the odds of three humans on planet earth getting together to create what the cosmos calls The Police? Phenomenally microscopic, I'd say.

there are high mountains, and then there is the mount everest; there are great bands and then there is the police.

Nunca habrá una banda tan auténtica y que sepa transmitir tanto! Esto fue 2 años de nacer, increíble! Por suerte los vi en su gira de reunión en Barcelona en 2007 y fue mágico 😄
