Land of Gold- I remember the place I once live.. it's in paracale, camarines norte..the main livelihood there is mining ..I remember those times when I went to a family (I'm a gospel teacher before) then there is a half sack of solid rocks,.I was wondering why the sack was put in the living room.then the family whispered to me that's its from mining. I for one when my younger only brother needs my help, I voluntary provided financial support to my 5 nieces & 2 younger nephews to graduate in college. the history of Philippines really confused me. as a filipino, i was taught at school that Philippines used to trade with the chinese and other foreigners way back then before the spaniards came. they used to trade fabrics, porcelains, and other things for gold i think. then, the spaniards came and claimed that magellan was the first one that discovered the Philippines. then, the historical show called amaya came, it became clear that Philippines already have civilization before the spaniards came. the show showed that the babaylan, probably witches since the early filipinos were pagans, foresaw the coming of the colonizers.
