Nothing better to get me through a long evening of college work than a new helping of commercials from the good old days... From the perspective of someone whose good times were during the 2000s and 2010s. 😅

That was over 40 minutes of peaceful bliss for me. ☺ How I miss the 80's (and 90's too). Thanks Dave. These always come at the right time. 📺👍🏼

Love watching these old commercials and taking me back to when the most complicated thing in my life was math homework and where I left my G.I. Joe figures. It's interesting to see ads for products or companies and wondering whatever became of them. I often look them up to see if they're still around, or when they were discontinued.

We didn't watch them then either, they're just a lot more watchable than contemporary commercials.

@@myclocktowermansion I watched commercials. I used to hate them interrupting the shows but I still watched them.

Wow!😂 I love wearing watches. When I was a young teenager, it was between one of my many Swatch watches or Casio Calculator watch and G-Shocks.

How did we go from a variety of products commercials to drugs, lawyers and all news all the time? Never thought I would go from hating and skipping over commercials to watching them for comfort and good memories.

Interesting in the second Crest commercial (37:46) they chose an actor without perfect teeth. That was more the norm back in the day, but these days sadly that would never fly. (not that they are that bad....)

.58 seconds. This Taco Bell I stopped at every Friday and sat night on my way home from performing Laserium shows at the Chabot science center above Oakland back in 2016. It was the only place open at 2 in the morning that was on my way to the house in Richmond from the science center. Odd to see it in an ad from the 1980s!
