Perfect timing! I just saw Denny Laine do an acoustic show over the weekend (he played bass on this tune). He didn’t play this one, but did do a bunch of other Wings. Been listening to them a lot lately! Such a great band.

One of the late Henry Campbell Liken McCullough's finest moments - the solo - apparently McCartney had "written a part" for the solo but, Henry asked if he could "try something else" and he nailed that solo ! Nice one Dave !

It's no wonder why I think we had the best music. Look at those wonderful lush chords in this song compared to the watered down crap being put out in the mainstream pop world today! I'd really like to know where he got the idea for this chord progression. My guess is the chords came first and the melody later. Both are well crafted masterpieces and complement one another.

Dave, confused beginner here, what you’re calling a Gm7 I’ve always known as a Gm, checking online I found the Gm7 as 1st finger Barring 3rd fret with 3rd finger on A string - 5th fret and 4th finger B string - 6th fret?

There are many ways to play a Gm7. It's a chord that has the following notes. G Bb D F

The Gm7 I'm playing is barre the 3rd fret with 1st finger, ring finger on 5th fret 4th. That is all. The notes from 6 to 1 are G D F Bb D G
