One of the my first vivid childhood memories was of my mum taking me for a walk in some bluebell woods. That was over 60 years ago. Your video brought it all back, as if it was yesterday. Mere thanks are not sufficient for this nostaligia hit. Good one Dave. 😌

Such a lovely, idyllic walk. Thank you for allowing us to hear the peaceful country sounds instead of dubbing in music. I so enjoy the natural sounds of nature and the sound of your footsteps make me feel like I'm on the walk myself. Wish I was there now.

I really like your videos! I am 65 and can’t walk very much these days but when I was younger, I could walk forever! And explore neat places! This is so lovely to be able to explore again! Thanks so much from Connecticut, USA. I used to get to the UK a lot when I was younger.

Maybe it's nostalgia talking, but this, to me, is the quintessential English ramble. Beautiful village, back lane that leads to a path meandering through woodland, fields with sheep, stiles .. I loved it and I've only watched it for 20 minutes. Thank you, Dave, I think it's one of your best yet - and that's saying something.

A carpet of bluebells means it's ancient woodland. You can tell they're native bluebells by the droop, and blue hue. Unfortunatley we can't enjoy their wonderful scent, which is another characteristic of the native species. Lovely video again Dave.

Wonderful Vedio. I like your walks.so nice with only natural sound and no added music. Me and my son used to walk regularly long walks in British countryside and woodlands. Now he is grown up and moved from home. Your walks brings back happy memories and feels like I am doing the walk with my son. UK countryside has its unique beauty. Blue bell woods are one of my favourite walks.Every spring I make it a point to walk in a blue bell woodland at least once every year. Best wishes for your KZbin channel.

Good stuff as usual. I don't mind at all if you chat to some of the folks you meet. That's a normal part of walking in nature in other countries as well. We all say hello to complete strangers. So go ahead and be friendly. The guy standing on the path seemed friendly enough, I hoped you would have had more of an exchange.

It is close to Matlock in Derbyshire. I didn't know that clicking the link on a phone/TV zooms you out, that's frustrating to know. On a PC the link zooms you right up to the walk..

Somehow, until you pointed it out, I was completely unaware of the fact there is indeed half a house. I have no idea at all why there is half a house! Most unusual indeed!

It's one half of a semi detached house. The missus wanted us to move to a detached property but I loved the location. So we compromised by buying next door's and knocking it down.
