This was one of the few choices I would get to watch on a Sunday after church at my house growing up. It was either Davey and Goliath, Larry Ferrari playing his organ or Al Alberts Showcase. I guess that's why I always was outside playing with my army men and digging holes in the yard instead of sitting inside watching TV on Sundays. :)

Dick Beals voiced Davey in the 60's,then Norma McMillan in the 70's. Both voices almost sounded alike!
@WillCWilson Жыл бұрын
Dick Beals' Davey was more light and airy and had more of an accent about it; Norma's had less of an accent to it, and it sounded more harsh at times, but both people did a good job at capturing the character, they especially shined whenever Davey was angry, sad, or really happy. think

Maybe some of these kids cartoons might be “old looking“, but you can’t deny the message. That’s why I like a lot of kids story books, cartoons, and TV shows. I truly do not understand the grown-up TV shows anymore. Comparing the kids shows the grown-up shows be like comparing I happy kids birthday party To a never ending miserable documentary on atrocities worldwide. How can you call the latter entertainment?

okay lets review here now. The first two kids left a crying and clearly HURT girl just to get a BALLOON?!! Are...balloons just rare in this universe?! I'm sorry but unless these balloons allow you to literally fly up into the air I cannot see the haste in getting one. And even there it's not worth abandoning a hurt and crying child! Davey, do yourself a favor and get some better friends! Otherwise they'll probably sell you out to the Mob for a free candy bar!
