The amount of times I've heard this song butchered on a show like X Factor. Stop covering it, especially if #1 you don't have the vocals and #2 have to compensate for this by slowing it down and trying to belt resulting in multiple voice breaks because your vocals are weak af. Trash.

disagree about slowing it down. I think the problem was the arrangement. All the strings and the awkward concert bass drum and crashing cymbals. Also it's hard to take a song and slow it down and do it justice in 2 minutes. Chris Cornell from Soundgarden does an absolutely riveting performance of Billie Jean slowed down like this (check out "Unplugged in Sweden") but then he's Chris Cornell . . .

Rickstahh22 How can he be the best? Mediocre singer, mostly off the key..He just have 1 nice performance , the first one of episode 17, and that's it...That Billy Jean was an insult to the Pop Star of the Century...usually out of tune! and he's not even good lookin and very short

This is probably the worst performance I've ever watched in a singing live show. There was no melody at all. He sounded like a drunk guy singing this song
