I’ve been watching since I was 14. I started working on my own guitars because they played like shit and learned so much from you. another tip to not mar flat head screws is to use screwdrivers made for firearms. For phillips screws, Japanese industrial screwdrivers provide a solid purchase, but increases the chance of stripping the wood if you aren't careful

You can use synthetic clock oil for the nut. Get it online or e-bay. I also use it on Fender string trees and bridges.

The truss rod was a thing of mystery before your videos...🤔 Now know how to adjust things after the evil elves go messing around with the truss rod, bridge, and intonation. Learned about quality tools as well, even purchased a Peterson Strobo Plus because of you. Now, I watch mainly for the humor! Hope you stick around, I’m sure I’m not the only one who would miss you. Have no idea why you are going through all the problems that you've had with KZbin. Seen another Canadian content provider that's a lot saltier with his language than you are, so I don't think that is an issue. Could be wrong. Love your vids, don't quit! I'm not happy with with the lurking copyright trolls as I make vids and work with songwriters. Recently had a case of an original song that was done completely in house, no loops, no samples and had a copyright challenge less than 10 minutes after upload! It was resolved in the creator's favor but it took WAY too much time. They should be fair and charge the trolls for a false claim. You should be compensated for your loss.

Dave, all the best for the new year. Try going to a gun shop for the Teflon lube, it is used to lubricate slides on semi auto pistols and rifles. I used it years ago on a Winchester 30-30 and it worked well.

You can use Wistia to host videos and then push viewers to your website but then you’re going to really work hard on your SEO to make sure people can find you. But I have a feeling people find your content via KZbin search and not Google search. You’ll have to do that analysis to figure out how you’re being found. I saw someone mention twitch as a possible replacement. The only challenge you will have there is age demographic. Again you’ll have to do a breakdown to find out the age of your viewers to see which is the best platform for you to move to. But I think you know this already.

That magic lube looks very similar to the magic lube at a pool store I worked at just packaged differently but the text on the tube looks exactly the same. It was called "Magic Lube w/ptfe", something like that.
