It is written that Jesse sent his son David to take food for his brothers at Israelis camp, and when David arrived, he heard Goliath mocking God and challenging the Isrealites but no one took up the challenge,and that's when David approach Goliath and killed him with his sling shot after he told Goliath that he (Goliath) comes with the sword and spear but he(David) comes to him in the name of Almighty God.
