Sir Attenborough, I'm just wondering: because there are always some extreme cases in a population, maybe there will be a few exceptional cheetahs that can reach the speed of 70 m/hr?

The highest currently documented speed for a cheetah is 64 miles per hour now, so 70 is possible, but he's a realist.

it is generally believed the pronghorns are so fast BECAUSE of the American cheetah (wiped out by humans)

​@@glenbe4026that's not true, we have no idea why they went extinct, but it most certainly wasn't EXCLUSIVELY because of humans. Lots of animals went extinct in the past, long before humans were here, so not everything is about how bad we are.
