David Bakhtiari RELEASED By Packers

Dbak’s time in Green Bay comes to an end after 11 seasons.

David Bakhtiari was so great when he was healthy, but his knee injury has kept him off of the field too much the past couple of years. I don’t like that this is the way his time with the Packers has ended, but it was the right and necessary decision for the team moving forward. He’s a great player and gave his all to this team and franchise. Best of luck and wishes to him moving forward. He’s earned nothing but our thanks and respect and he will always be a Packer inside of our hearts. Go Pack Go 💚💛

You are absolutly right. One of the best left tackles in Football. From the professional side I understand the move. But it is really sad that he had such a Long time injured and couldn’t help the Team. Hope to See him back on the Field. Hopefully Not in Purple. Hope that guti finds a new left tackle in the Draft!!! Go Pack Go from Germany.

Tough we didn't get him a ring, but definitely the right move, we needed some cap space, hopefully we get someone good like Xavier McKinney
