David Beckham in Dublin City, Ireland 1997

The Manchester United star was in Clonshaugh, Dublin where he showed the assembled media and fans how to bend it like it Beckham.
David Beckham was at the Athletic Union League (AUL) complex to promote the new Adidas Predator football boot.
21-year-old Beckham is very much a part of the young breed at Old Trafford, one of the so-called Fergie Babes.
Beckham took time out from his hectic schedule to explain to RTÉ News the difference between being a footballer and being a pop star. He also met with some young fans, signed autographs and posed for photos.
13-year-old Raymond Whelehan from Harmonstown got his chance to meet Beckham. Raymond has also had a taste of life in Premiership football after a trial at Arsenal.
