It's awesome how you two can cram so much pertinent info, such detail, into a 19-20 minute video. I'm proud for and of you! I'd just turned 11 a few days before they caught Berkowitz, and even in northeastern Kentucky, the spree had been covered on local TV news. It wasn't until years later with the Waco ATF/Branch Davidians coverage, that local news began each broadcast with the latest update like they did with Berkowitz.

Yeah, uh.....it's pure speculation. The evidence pointed to Berkowitz being the sole killer. There is some evidence that David may have done other violent crimes, or attempted thus, several years before the shootings, but, much of that was from his own alleged confessions or commentary, which is dubious to a massive degree.

The coverage of David Berkowitz back in the late 70's, was the first time 7th grade me had ever heard of a "serial killer". I didn't know what that meant, but as it progressed on the news here in the DC area, I learned and became terrified of him. How can there be someone that does this? What was he thinking? The fact that he was called many names, but "Son of Sam" was the one that got me. That name haunted me. Everything about him haunted me and I was afraid he'd venture down to where I was. And I just found out that he's still alive, safely locked up, but alive. I thought he had died long ago. Got shivers upon finding this out. After all this time.
