There will never be a better version of this song. The emotion is unparalleled after David Bowie spent many days and weeks with FDNY members in the wake of 9/11. - thank you, from FDNY E58, my dad was there in audience with other first responders. They’ll never call themselves heroes, just men and women fulfilling a job. But not a day goes by where I don’t recognize the heroes all of them were. Many no longer with us sadly.

I loved Bowie… I love you, David Bowie you are wonderful. I fell in love with all of your songs until this one and I think this was the best you ever have done! I listen to it then and I listen to it now just as much as I can, you’re the man!!❤😂😊

I have to say that HE is my hero . As a singer, I sometime realize I make little mistakes a bit out of tune here and there, but I’ve been watching his videos for years, hundreds of them and I can say that I never never never ever heard a note out of place , out of tune . He is the best singer ever. Miss you very much.
