When you have Gail Ann Dorsey on bass, Earl Slick on guitar, Sterling Campbell on drums and Mike Garson on piano, you know you have an absolutely 💯 ass-kicking band.

You've got that soo right!! I wish I could have visited New York at this time!! He's one of our great talents! He's one of a kind. He broke the rules and followed his own heart!! Good for him. The good Lord gave him this talent, not to follow the rules of men, but that that was given to him, and he did!!! I applaud his moxy!! I wish I had that kind of courage.

I don't want to appear sycophantic, but i think a lot of the never stuff from the masters hand ( shit, I did it..!) is underrated. This is a GREAT song, and I've had it on repeat for the past few hours. Off course, I love the old stuff, but with that, I also play favourites. Having said that, even the "bad" songs are good. Damn, Mr. Jones, you've provided me with the soundtrack for most of my life since Christiane F. I couldn't pay you homage any more sincerely than selling you to my daughter.

Touched, I read this honest contemplation that springs straight from your heart and that I receive as a gift. Thank you. I would only add that perhaps the music (when IS music ...) escapes the mental category of time: even you're proving that is living in the present, through a sincere feeling of gratitude and in the witness for your daughter. A hug.

@Fender1976uk I agree that the attitude towards an Artist of this caliber is exactly like yours, i.e. open-minded (and with the joy to be so). In a general flattening of the mainstream, which increasingly blunts the free spirit of Art, few authors have dared to behave like Bowie, fighting always, risking constantly in order not to repeat himself... honor to DB and also to people like you. Really thank you.

@INNERSOUNDVISION Well said, my dear and gracious friend, as always, you speak with intellegence and eloquance, the master may or may not make any more albums, but if this is truly his last, it was a magnificent album every bit as good if not the best of his career. I shall always hold it dear in my heart, as I do the beautiful soul that created it. As for people who love to degrade things of beauty, a saying from when I was a little girl comes to mind...consider the source, lol...

@leonakita Gentle Madam or Sir, these words, so much original and elegant to express an "artistic criticism", are perfectly in line with the flat greyness of an anonymous channel such as that one behind which you've preferred to hide yourself. The words (when respectful of oneself and so of others) have authoritativeness if they are uttered by a person free to be responsible, otherwise they are "garbage". Anyway, thanks.

The context is the MUSIC, whereby endless are the opinions and we are in a Community, not in a seat of a vulgar talk show... Otherwise, I would be forced to remove the comment. Thank you very much.
