David Bridie - Goodbye Jerusalem

The next short film to be released off The Wisdom Line album is the song 'Goodbye Jerusalem', the title of which and the refrain "and so it goes” comes from the recently departed Bob Ellis.
The featured vocal at the end of the song is wonderfully sung by David's daughter Stella Bridie, and there are other musical contributions from the likes of Michael Barker (drums), Phil Wales, John Phillips (guitars), Phil Kakulas (double bass), English artist Trevor Jones and a random taxi driver offering some backing vocals and words. The song is a spacious lament for what our country could be, and that sentiment is as pertinent now as ever..and so it goes
The wonderful Matej Kolmanko from Murska Sabota in Slovenia made the film.
