It’s fun to watch as it’s a bit old fashioned television but I can see the sad affects of his alcohol addiction on his health, acting and mind. For me it’s tragic. I saw him when I was 11 and he was 4 years away from starting his drinking alone habits. I feel for him as he had no one to get his life balanced with, just was stranded on his own, adored by millions, drinking and suffering emotionally while he was exploited and paid zilch.

His official site just posted another FI episode in which David played a Tin Pan Alley songwriter. It was edited but it lasted 23 minutes, so it included the whole story arc. I wish we could get the entire story on this episode.

Never saw this one. I actually never watched Fantasy Island much. It was one of those dumb shows of the second half of the 1970s. I am surprised that David Cassidy guest starred in an episode. It was only about 4 years since the Partridge Family went off the air. It seemed he was somewhat typecast here too.
