David Cook & Carrie Underwood Singing together: Priceless! At this point David Cook had a platinum single & a platinum album. Carrie had several platinum singles & several multi-platinum albums. They're very good friends, both used to singing before a 25million (plus) TV audience. Why would anyone think he'd be nervous singing for a small studio crowd? Think about it. Sounds like the power of suggestion to me. ;) I still wish we could hear the Van Halen duet. Maybe some day soon.

David has a country mid-western twang every once in a while when he sings, and he did on I Don't Want To Miss A Thing. He also has it on Come Back To Me. But I agree that over all he is more rocknroll. I love David's ballads, the feeling he expresses in his voice, the way he sings. He has me under his spell.

All I can say is WOW! WOW! WOW! Both of them are GREAT! They both are class acts & can hold their own. They're fantastic together. I wish I could have been there to see them in person. David Cook is the best AI ever. I really enjoyed this video and I think they sound great together. I hope they do more duets. BTW, the person who said that David was just okay is entitled to their opinion, but they shouldn't have to demean David Cook. After all he did win AI.
