David Cook and Carrie Underwood Duet at Walt Disney World

As part of the massive grand opening of the new American Idol Experience attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios on February 12, 2009, American Idol winners David Cook and Carrie Underwood sang a duet for the media inside the new attraction's theater. Also in attendance were plenty of other Idol celebrities including all 7 winners, Paula Abdul, and Ryan Seacrest. The song is Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way".

David Cook & Carrie Underwood Singing together: Priceless! At this point David Cook had a platinum single & a platinum album. Carrie had several platinum singles & several multi-platinum albums. They're very good friends, both used to singing before a 25million (plus) TV audience. Why would anyone think he'd be nervous singing for a small studio crowd? Think about it. Sounds like the power of suggestion to me. ;) I still wish we could hear the Van Halen duet. Maybe some day soon.

The best thing about Carrie is that she is still hot on fire 4 years after winning Idol. Kelly and David's flames are still burning bright, Ruben's is at a medium heat, Fantasia's is only flickering, Taylor's has burned out, Kris' is still on being ignited, but Carrie's flame is still white hot, as if she'd won only yesterday. Carrie has done IDOL proud. She's a PERFECT example of what American Idol wants to produce and statistically, she is the most successful IDOL contestant and winner!
