Speaking of Zendaya, I do not remember if they’ve already spoken about it but if you guys could review the movie The Challengers. Her role in that movie… she 100% was the villain and I was 100% all for it

David been getting into fights all his life. I used to watch JK News, every video for years! Kinda discovered comedy that I loved more and started watching Joey Diaz, Bill Burr, Theo Von and later Shane Gillis, etc. So I spent my time watching their podcasts. But man, David used to always talk about fighting or wanting to fight. And he had a horrible experience with weed or something. Too bad because he could use it. 😂

I couldn't get on board with the "model minority" woes either. We have some pretty good stereotypes. 😂
@angelapham99833 ай бұрын
As a Gen-Z Asian American, I get David’s point about the model minority and yours that we do have good stereotypes for example our parents raising us right to be professionals (doctors etc.) in which it helps us to be strived and determined. It’s good and all, but in my view, I can still be quite liberal and concerned about that “model minority” term it’s because I don’t feel like myself yet and I have to struggle compromising both cultures. Also I just want to clarify, can you give me other examples of “good stereotypes”?

Yea the slowing down of time called "flow state" or "being in the zone". Researchers have been studying this more recently. High adrenaline output during stressful situations and/or can be induced during hyper focus times as well.

Many more films are getting shot where I'm from (UK) because of all the Hollywood b.s. fees and low tax cuts. Have you heard of friends in the industry struggling more because of this move in shooting locations?

if i could offer a little bit of "insight" on the whole "model minority" concept, hopefully i can explain it properly 👀💦 it's not that the concept of Asians being the "model minority" is wholly detrimental towards Asians (if you don't live up to the image of the "model minority" there "must be something wrong with you"); it can actually be used against other races. what i mean is, back then, decades ago, when more Asians started living in the U.S., we were seen as mostly "hard working, obedient, law-abiding, etc." so those in power (i.e. hwhite people) would use that against other races (black, latino, etc.), "these Asian people are doing just fine, we've barely had to give them help, so why can't you guys do well?!" etc. thus reinforcing negative stereotypes and labeling them as "(still) inferior" to other races. i hope this makes sense 👀🙏 much love to you David~

In the audio podcast you're talking about the studio being trashed and horrible my question is why don't you build out a studio that you have your own cameras your own microphones so you don't have to rely on anybody else you can definitely get some great audio

Y'all watching too much netflix produced shows. They just get the cheapest script and attach the biggest talent to get subscribers. They don't care about casting they just want that cool poster. Kevin Hart obviously wasn't right for the role but he brings in eyeballs. Watch anything else made by a different production company. His last non-netflix movie was Fatherhood, and i thought he was good in it. Netflix has diluted quality of movies released.
@DavidSoComedy3 ай бұрын
If you think we only watch Netflix produced shows then you haven’t listened to any of our movie reviews. Also he was ok in fatherhood and forgettable.
