But, how does Last Years Love feel when she hears this song ? Its getting on 40 years ago since she knew Dave, so I think she will not care that he has high hopes for This Years Love. Perhaps last years love did not realise the song she has known about for oh, so long, was about her, hurting him, and has only just found out, in one agonizing moment. Last years love will never be sure if in fact she is is not actually This Years Love after all, probably a bit of both or neither... and she is now hoping there is a self help group for "people who knew famous people before they were famous " . . . that's all in the sequel
