Some seriously heavy effects have been applied to the voice… the opening description is a bit misleading. Talented, none the less but no need to try and fool people. And a whole lot pitch correction, the software the used is up for debate… I would guess… Melodyne?

I entirely agree, I love this cover (moreso than any other I have heard, and even the original). But as a lover of acapella, I can't say that this is acapella. I think it's Astrid's voice in this one. It's clearer than the original and seems more powerful and emotional than the original. Sadly, I can't tell if it's though editing, so I will trust that it's not so I can enjoy the song to the max ;)

Obviously her face isn't going to sync perfectly with the sound of two voices simultaneously, and that's without taking into account the ridiculous amount of editing involved to turn a zillion clips of Aaron making noises into a coherent melody. Given how elaborate these videos are, some people don't seem to get that at a certain point faking this would be so convoluted that it'd honestly be easier to do the real thing.
