Doris said in this interview in 1983 she would like to work again,"maybe here" in Carmel.She did with her series "Doris Day and Friends" filmed at her home in the mid eighties.

I love every minute of this! She was a truly amazingly talented woman! She had the most positive outlook on life! I feel Terry was the love of her life! She will be remembered by the younger generation for DDAF

Doris said that she lost her father at a young age but she was in her 40s. He died the year before Marty.

All these interviews with people like Oprah, etc. seem so intrusive. Basically interrogating people. Doris was the BEST. I love her so much. I only wish I could have met her.
