There was a movie out before the Young are the Restless that they based this soap on and for the life of me I can't find it 🤷‍♀️I believe it was in the theaters. They used this song. Now I'm going to have to research it AGAIN. 😮 50 PLUS years ago.

This song was actually called "Cotton's Theme" when it was created in the early 70's, and in fact was credited as such on "The Young and the Restless" theme song. In 1976, ABC Sports did a montage for then-global sensation Nadia Comăneci from Romania, the gymnast who set a lot of records at the time. After Flip Wilson did a retrospective hour about Nadia, with this song playing throughout, the name was changed from it's original ("Cotton's Them") to Nadia's Theme, re-released, and because the 8th top selling song of the year.
