Thanks for your patient and thorough tour of all these shows, James. David's work was interesting - kind of reminding me of Kippenberger, Trenton Hancock, or even a bit of Salle. I never "got" Frankenthaler... perhaps her ethereal breakthrough was too easily mimicked by zillions of not-so-great artists who came after, spoiling whatever fresh rips in the firmament she made.

Frankenthalers were nice. At first I thought these were early works by her seeing how they are more coming out of abstract expressionists like Rothko and Pollock and Dekooning. Her larger earlier works have more open expanses and are going in a different direction I think. Glad the one gallery is now providing chairs.

David Humphrey-Animals are superior to humans in nature, using animals as a negative metaphor is ignorant.the artist needs a little bit more education and so does the gallerist. whole theme is not enlightened and abusive to nature.
