I'm at my happiest playing Bach on the classical guitar, in my opinion it is perfect music. This is an arrangement by Manuel Barrueco which works so well. A joy to play in this great acoustic, Bovey Tracey church in Devon UK, Thanks to my friend Bim for his camera work.
I'll be uploading the whole suite over the next few weeks.

It’s a great Bach cello piece, Counter points and polyphonic, great performance. However, I thought those arbitrary arpeggios and ornamentations trills takes away the originality, specially on the open measures of the prelude those beautiful slur were arbitrarily replaced.

Thanks for watching. I thought the lack of slurs was strange at first but I got used to it. I just thought I'd try something different and try to sound like Manuel. Never possible!!
