David, I watched you perform this at hockstein theater in Rochester in 1986 or 87. You had just transcribed the Bach flute pieces. They is truly the most beautiful of them all. I’m sure Mr. Bach is very pleased with your contribution in making this available to serious guitarist.

This is sooooo good. On another level compared to most other classical guitarists on KZbin. The tone, the feeling, the pacing, just so right. So many over romanticise Bach, they add this kind of fake emotion to it, but all you have to do is let the amazing music do it's thing, just like this. Perfect.

I stumbled upon this spontaneously, and I'm glad I did. Your arrangement of BWV 1034 is one of my favorite Bach pieces, and listening to your kind words at the beginning brought a glimmering to my day. And it's especially true for me as an Israeli citizen during this time of war, as the Israeli national anthem is actually called "The Hope". I hope peace will come to the region sooner rather than later... Thank you!
