First, the remote that aired on Late Night October 9, 1992. Then the segment that aired on Regis and Kathie Lee.

Brings back memories of the electricity in the Letterman era and what good pals Dave & Regis were. Thanks again Don.

There is a great talk show going on in heaven right now and Regis is the host. May the GOAT of morning television rest in peace.

I like how Dave brings attention to the continuity errors with the glasses, and the 15 seconds that it took him to get from Regis' set back to his own. He might as well have said, "it's so obvious that we pre-taped this bit." 😆

Imagine being the guy in the audience. One time David Letterman gave me a kiss on the cheek and a 16 pound roast.

another great Regis moment, the reaction from Regis and Kathie Lee when they see DL walking on - DL just adored Regis, DL had Regis on his show many times and you could see the affection he showed him. love the LIVE behind the scenes shots of the set, crew, audience ! ! ! ! !

They all had such a great sense of humour. KLG didn’t take herself so seriously and laughed at the “Doby” joke about her son kody.

Letterman had incredible charisma and you could see Kathie Lee was kind of taken aback by it. Letterman was great at coming into a situation, doing his thing and getting out.

Dave was so concerned about 'continuity' with his wearing glasses that he forgot that the BAGS didn't match! :) The bag he left NBC with was tall, the bag he presented to Regis and Kathie Lee was wide!

1. VHS or Beta tape from various VCRs to DVD burner. Finalize. 2. Convert DVD-R to .mp4 on desktop computer. 3. ID file and place in appropriate folder.

I heard Letterman was a stickler about audio quality on his shows, and truly, the sound was better when Dave’s producers mic’d him walking in on Regis compared to the sound of Dave on Regis’ microphones
@sdne19592 жыл бұрын
. Wow......don't know that I've ever seen Regis so (relatively) subdued......usually he was CONSTANTLY yacking (not meant as a dig, just an observation). Maybe it was because he really was (as Kathie Lee also seems to be here) caught so off-guard, he didn't really know what to say or do.... That said, interesting to see how Dave and Regis's (on-air, anyway) relationship "blossomed" over the years, and how these two genuinely seemed to like being together...... .
@charlespatrick86503 жыл бұрын
do you have the clip where celebrities welcome Dave back from his heart bypass surgery, and David Duchovny, in his Agent Mulder office, calls Regis a "caffeinated little monkey," and they switch over to Regis on his morning show set firing right back at Duchovny?
@charlespatrick86503 жыл бұрын
now that I'm thinking/remembering it, Regis was probably on his "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" show set instead, it's been a long time since that was on, 20 year old memory if that was in 2000
