Watching Regis catch a pass from Terry Bradshaw on a busy NYC street is a bit of TV history that I'll never forget. RIP.

If Letterman still had his show, there'd be a well deserved tribute to Regis Monday night.

I loved how Regis was always game to have Dave “humiliate” him. A total class act! ( Besides Regis, I also loved when Tony Randall would appear. And like Regis, he would go along with anything for a laugh. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5jFZZalrZh6gpI )

I remember watching Regis during my youth. He was so genuinely funny. He always amazed me with his wit. And his warmth. He had such incredible chemistry with Kathy too. Loved that show.

A little late in finding out that Regis had left us. Dave was one of the first people who crossed my mind, because I know that Dave loved him very much. A lot of people loved Regis very much. RIP.

Regis is the best ! ! ! thanks for posting - I will miss Regis and I was so lucky to meet him back in the late 80s when he came to LA to do a week of shows. RIP

I guess it was in the early 90s when the show came to LA, after Regis and Kathie Lee appeared on the cover of People Magazine in Sept 91. I remember I brought the magazine along with me and during a commercial break, Regis went to chat with the audience and we were seated in the second section behind the aisle behind the first eight rows. I called out to him and he said hello and I handed the magazine which he signed. I asked when he was going to come to San Diego to do some shows, he replied "we gotta do that" The shows in LA were shot in the same ABC studio as America's Funniest Home Videos with Bob Saget.

Reeg should have grabbed the stand with the "take one" in-house newsletters as he got on the elevator.
