Something to keep in mind is this interview was recorded in 2007 or 2008. The only phone on the market you might even want to watch a movie on was the 1st gen iPhone and that thing had a 3.5 inch screen and resolution of 320 x 480. The phone is superior definition to the dvd I watched it in, at least Criterion would put it out in hi-res digitally so I can only assume the dvd I rented could've looked better hence enhancing my enertainment value. There is something relaxing about watching a film in the best possible way, whether if it's in a theater or a big TV.

One of the best youtube videos I've encountered here on the internet - dispite its short running time, it couldn't be anymore amusing or true (and depressing). The first time I saw this I nearly killed myself with laughter. Although his films are amongst the most odd, eccentric, uncomforting and deeply disturbing - they possess an aesthetic and artistic value that no other filmmaker could deliver other than the man himself: David Lynch - of which whom I have alot of respect for.

The more I play this, the funnier it gets. And yes, you are robbed of the experience of watching a film that was built for a 100ft screen when you watch it on a three-inch phone. Watching a film like 2001: A Space Odyssey on a phone is like listening to Handel's "The Messiah" played on a kazoo.
