Has anyone else noticed, or feel like everything lynch has made is connecting? He always talks about unified field theory, and all of his movies have this almost seperated reality. I feel like every movie connects through an alternate plane, or dimension, what have you. If you don't agree I suggest you see every movie he has made, but save Inland Empire for last...something happens that makes my beliefs pretty believable. Just like one of you said this sounds like it relates to Wild At Heart, I think everything is connected in Lynch universe!

I began to suspect something of this sort after I saw the Rabbits in Inland Empire. It was brief, but deliberate.

It seems you miss a lot of adventure here. Lynch is trying to evoke your deepest fantasies in most of his films and music. You miss half of the fun if you don't put efford in it.

bolderiks i see what you mean. People are too eager to find answers and when they can't, they get pissed. People need to learn to envelop themselves in the art. They need to experience it, not dissect it

I knew Pinky. He was this squirrely little guy who owned a go-cart track in El Cajon, CA. His daughter was a knockout but had some kind of problem with the tubes and couldn't finish at Grossmont College. Pinky never changed his sweater and was filthy most of the time but died incredibly rich. There's a little park in Bostonia where he used to hang out after the track got shot down. I think they put him somewhere eventually. Good times.

This song make Karen O cooler. Lynch didn't see much in her at first but then they made this and it's awesome! She jumped in to the Lynch vision :) the ending is so creepy!!! AHAHAHHHHHH

I keep getting this thought about the verses and how they sound similar to the vocals that God Forbid of That Handsome Devil might use in a downbeat or gloomy song, it's hypnotic....
