God's timing is EVERYTHING! God has been waking me up between 2-3a.m. for many years. The first thing I do, is PRAY! I started sleeping with paper and pen. Step children are just that! either you step on them or step over them. Neither of those express LOVE!

Since she was a kid you could see that Porcia was very INTELLIGENT so it doesn't surprise me to see that she wrote a book. I don't read anymore like I use to but I bought her book to support Porcia. If we don't support our young black adults who will? Keep up the good work. I'm from Cali and my copy is due to arrive by the Mar 30 - Apr 3 just to let you know I really did just order my copy. May God keep blessing you. P.S. With All the CHURCHGOERS your parents know this book should hit THE NEW YORK BEST SELLER LIST in no time. IJS

I enjoyed the interview I just feel we as women always looking for a father figure and that's what we are missing in our life. I am saying we because I had different guys in my life too but my two sons now have the same Dad it was definitely a lot of work. I think that we as women have to give ourselves some space to grow a little bit more and don't be quite to jump from man to man because it don't look good. We Have To Pray About Everything Before We Put Ourselves Out There...A JOB WELL DONE MY SISTER 🙏

I know you all were reflecting on the need of the book, but I have to be honest the interview from a father daughter perspective wrecked especially the end. I couldn’t help myself from thinking about something that will never be for me. I never knew my biological father. Just two years ago I found him and I learned he was killed when I was 14 years old. 😢 Thank you showing me what a healing father daughter relationship looks like. Btw, Portia. Congrats on your healing journey. It is continual, but the fact that you started makes the difference ❤
