that little high pass filter fade at 3:10 during the solo is some kinda production genius right there.

@Simon Grove Everything you do is brilliant, man. It’s blatantly obvious you bust your ass practicing, all your music is so well thought-out. I could listen to just your bass tracks and nothing else. I think people (including myself) get distracted by Plini’s guitar-work. But I saw your session work with Hedras and I was just blown away. Again, another brilliant guitarist that you’ve worked with. Speaks volumes about your skill that you match up with those guys and click so well with them, but you’re clearly very musically inclined. If you haven’t already, you should start your own band or make solo material, man! You were clearly born to play bass

I love this video. Musically I love that you're not afraid to do something that's not overwhelmingly complicated and shreddy. The fact that the music is simple gives me hope in guitar based music. We can still just chill and listen to a great melody and great production without playing fast for the sake of fast. Kudos on the musicality.

There is actually so much memorable instrumental music coming out these days. Dragonforce is not a Metal band I like, somtimes I like super shred, but a developed sounding song that is not like solo 24/7 is usually more memorable for me. Also some metal and rock music that is just mainly riffs/chords and no actual soloing is good to me like Gojira, Tool, Alcest ect. Another great guitarists that has released some insturmental music is Nick Johnston. Not just ideas, but use of different articulations and dynamics can somsomets add a lot of "feel" to a song, even a shreddy one sometimes. Sometimes letting go of complexity in music can be good.

I too do not call David Maxim Micic a musician, nor an artist, even though hes both lmfao. I always refer to him as a composer, because that is absolutely the most accurate way to describe him When i draw comparisons, i usually dont contrast him to contemporary guitarists either, i contrast him to other composers. And I hope his music is still being played by many long after all of us are long dead.
