Y’all don’t sleep on Chris Allison
@andyham60944 жыл бұрын
Blake Warrens definitly a good drummer. Saw them with arch echo and periphery few months ago. Plini was still sick but man it’s not the same without Troy. Chris doesn’t hit nearly as hard, when Troy played for plini the music seemed a lot heavier when the parts are supposed to be heavier, yet still had amazing dynamics like in electric sunrise and other dynamic parts. Also just as a showman, Chris was pretty boring to watch play, since the rest of the members are playing crazy stuff and just stand there, Troy balanced it’s out by adding a lot of energy in his playing. Chris was just in the back kinda looking like he was about to fall asleep. Also the drum solo sections Troy used to kill it!!! Chris Allison’s solos in those drum breaks weren’t nearly as good. Don’t get me wrong he still killed it but I def preferred Troy personally. I’m sure if plini could choose he would choose Troy if Troy wanted to play with them again.

Artisan crashes are the best sounding crashes ever for recording. They fit in every genre, literally. Not too dry and trashy but also not abrasive and glass shattering.

I see you commenting often on videos around youtube, i think that you said about hhx on other video of Troy maybe. I have to agree, they are awesome. Daniel erlandsson and Jay postones use them on a very nice way too.

I was playing drums 3 to 6 hours a day for almost 10 years and 4 of those years YOU were a HUGE inspiration for me to gain precision and skills as you have. Now after two years of break of drumming because of massive depression and health issues I came to here to watch this drum cover and you came me once again reason to go back to studio.
