Good video. I am a singer songwriter. I was tired of travelling ‘STUFF’. Paying extra at airports etc so I sold all my pedals recently. Researched a bit and have found the perfect guitar rig (for me). Here it is if it helps anyone. Guitar -> DI Box (optional) ->Audio Interface -> Laptop (Neural DSP Plug-in) You can use a foot switch pedalboard to control the plug-in. I am planning to do automation on my backing track for so my guitar changes effects automatically. Also an in ear monitoring system. With this setup, I can record and release high quality music and also play live gigs with not worrying about having a good sound engineer at a venue. If anybody has a simpler rig, please let me know

5 years later, this video finally inspired me to take the last logical step move to an all VST setup live. I had slowly gone more and more digital (pedals and amps -> pedals and modeler -> fewer pedals and bigger modeler -> full Helix setup -> all VST; primarily Helix Native). No more trying to make my live setup sound like my vst setup, no more moving presets between Helix Floor and Helix Native, just grab the laptop from home and head to rehearsals and gigs. I was already using a laptop with VSTs live for my synth, so what was I doing lugging around an entirely separate, also 100% digital, rig?
