Oprah flew The Osmond Family, more than 100 of them, back to Chicago for her show. David Osmond and his brothers, The Osmonds 2nd Generation, sang a special song in tribute to their beloved Grandpa George Osmond.

How are they not famous?? They have the harmonies that the older Osmond's do. Perfectly sung. David has an incredible voice.

So moving. I thought it was so beautiful, so unique that you could sing in honor of your grandfather. I know how hard it must have been but you all controlled your voice and emotions so well and rendered a tremendous performance. I guess you are all pros!

I remember seeing this special with The Osmonds on Oprah, and I had no idea that some of the kids started their own singing group too! I can’t wait to see if some of the grandchildren have inherited the musical abilities as well!

The 2nd Generation has been performing together for years. They sang together when their father & his brothers had a theatre in Branson. They've been singing together since they were little. Michael, Alan's oldest, has several daughters that sing together. But, the boys are great together.

The expression of pride and pleasure on Alan’s face was beautiful. As was the singing. To think the gift of song-including harmonizing-passed on so thoroughly. Did it to other children of the Osmonds?

I think the 2nd generation term more is in reference to apparently there were a group of guys out there who sang songs in 1973 but since the world has been born since then that doesn't matter anymore. :) I will definitely watch for them. I saw a clip of Generation 1 Donny osmond with one of these guys by the name of David Osmond and he absolutely (my opinion) matched him NOTE FOR NOTE and they can sing smoothly together as well as a group.
