I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some of the smartest people in their field, that did not have the opportunity for a higher education, due to either, economic struggles of their generation or a learning disability that they overcame in later years, just as examples. Learning is a passion for a great deal of people and it’s refreshing to watch and listen to intelligent discussions on topics that we enjoy. Curiosity is underrated. I think it’s vital for mental health and overall well being. David always provides great insights into relevant topics of the times. At this point in time, it focuses on the political landscape of his country. As someone that cherishes my Canadian Democracy, it’s enlightening how similar we are in many ways despite small differences in some laws and governance.

So if their #1 choice doesn’t win outright, instead of their vote being tossed, the second ranked person is tallied as well. Stops a lot of the holding your nose and voting for the less offensive candidate. It also helps reduce the power of the electoral college in that they are owned in most states by the 2 parties DFL & GOP. Term limits could be set by states blocking Congress from keeping people way too long. We need Congress of the people not political, corrupt families running the country paid by power groups like the Federalist Society.

“Bonkers” is, on the face of it, a British expression. But it’s usually just an adjective, not normally part of a noun phrase. Americans often get British usage subtly wrong like this. And likewise, “retard” as a noun is more American than British. Odd.
