Your description of the Bigfoot world reminds me of my observations of the academic world in the university history department where I majored. I realized that these so-called professionals spent all their time trying to get published and discrediting or debunking the work of other historians. Nobody was very interested in discovering anything new (especially if those new discoveries went outside the accepted parameters or contradicted long-standing conclusions). It was petty and discouraging to say the least. I respect what you do and enjoy your videos. Thank you.

Happy to be here for class number 5! I also want to say that anything that is around the year 1909 always grabs my attention. My maternal grandfather was born that year. I wish he was still around. I would talk to him about those articles 20 years befor his birth to 40 years after his birth. I always compare the articles to my pops age at the time. I know I'm strange. Lol

Awesome video. I grew up with the Tlingit people of SE Alaska in the 70s. Kushdaka were accepted as real. My parents were teachers, and we are white, but steeped in the native culture. In my teen years I frequently hunted alone, and did have an encounter, that I didn't recognize until only recently ... listening you Canam Missing Project and Dixie Cryptid. I was deer hunting alone, and down the mountainside a loud laugh like vocalization came. The tone and volume of the vocalization sent me sprinting down the mountainside. I had my trusty 3030 lever action, but my brain was telling me that didn't matter. Being on the long distance track team, I made good time. :)

The account of the poor man held in a small room as prisoner for years, just made me weep. How can people do these things, even to a "wild man"? Dave, there is an interview Kerry Arnold did (shortly before his unexpected passing) with a former state trooper who saw a "wildman" in a mental institution during his training in late 70's. He said what they saw WAS NOT HUMAN & gave detailed description. The story was it was picked up in FL after being hit by a car & was an adolescent. Really interesting story this guy had kept to himself for years!
@cynthiabrewer9522 жыл бұрын
I saw that interview as well. The trooper seemed very sincere in his account and I was galvanized to the screen. On a personal note, I feel our collective village of truth seekers and free thinkers suffered a big loss with Mr. Arnold's untimely passing. His passion for knowledge on these creatures and similar subjects was undeniable, his respect and compassion for every person he interviewed was admirable, his voice was one of a kind, and he just had a presence that invited trust. Our village will forever have a Kerry shaped hole in it that can never be completely filled. My heart and prayers are with his family and loved ones now and forever. Take care 😊

Dave every time I watch one of your Bigfoot classes it brings something else up in my head. On the one where you talked about swamps being a place they live, the areas where I find a lot of sign there is a monstrous swamp and it makes sense that, that would be somewhere something would hide like that around here. Literally three days ago I was saddle hunting for deer up in a tree and I swear that I heard someone say hey but it was like it was in the wind and I heard it three different places but I see no one. There was no area that I could zero in on and tell where it was coming from. It was almost like the wind was carrying it. Then I hear you give these accounts of these Native American tribes. My great-grandmother was full-blooded Cherokee and I still follow a lot of their ways and do not understand why we would not listen to what they said. I wish I could post pictures because I found a five-toed giant track in the snow. I've also talked to multiple Hunters who have had weird experiences in the area. I'm not going to stay out of the woods but I will tell people where I'm hunting at and put my faith in God. I clean up trash in the areas that I hunt and hopefully that keeps me on their good side. LOL. I know they're there I'm just waiting for the time when they decide to show themselves. I've done 3 day solo wilderness survival treks and have heard people mumbling but never been bothered. Great videos and keep up the good work and keep us educated that go out into nature of knowing what might reside there and what things have a possibility of happening. Take care and God bless you.

Glad to here you are still going to go in the woods. Nothing will stop me from doing so. I love to hike and camp but I don’t know about doing a solo trek all the sounds would freak me out if I was all alone with just my thoughts. I usually go with a buddy or two backcountry camping

Thank you, Dave, for staying with the theory and providing so many facts that help people like me to gain true information, that leads to a basic understanding of what Sasquatch is. Your unbiased approach to your study adds credence to the outcome, which is of utmost importance to the research and findings, with an unbiased approach to the study. This is good. You gather facts and share those facts with those of us, who are seeking untainted information. You care less about what your opponents think about you approach, which is truly getting to the bottom of the whether or not Sasquatch truly exists. I applaud your sincere effort. Thank you, sir, for being totally objective in your ongoing investigation of what Sasquatch is. It is so important that a study remain unbiased during the investigative process.

There is a story from I believe Russia, somewhere here on KZbin, of such a woman who was taken to a village and at first kept like an animal for some time. She at some point became pregnant by a man or men of this village, and ended up bearing children. I cannot remember what happened after that, but I do remember feeling sorry for her, as she was never treated well as the other women were, and the story was sad to me. But it's around here somewhere, I wish I could attach a link but don't remember where I saw this, although it was definitely here on KZbin.

As a carpenter I would recommend what drywallers call Hot mud. It's very hard drywall mud that hardens within 10 to 15 minutes. You could add cement powder to make it harder. A lot of times the product is called Quickset 15 the number usually indicates the set time goes up to 45 minutes down to 15. Not as strong as epoxy but half the mess. Transports in powder form just needs water. Very similar to plaster of Paris but quicker setting.

Dave, thank you for sharing this with us. I didn't know it until class 4 but, after watching a bunch of documentaries again from other Sasquatch/Bigfoot groups, one thing is WAY MORE common than I noticed before: It's always: "Ape. Animal. Ape. Ape. Animal. Ape." I never realized how much other people try to drive that point home until you shared this class with us. It's not obvious when you first watch the other documentaries, however after watching these classes it's blatantly clear what narrative they're trying to push. That narrative is "Ape or Animal". It's mentioned WAY MORE than needed to not be programming.

Thank you Mr Paulines It’s so great to learn about one of my favorite subjects. The way we make others suffer is so sad.

Thank you, David. These classes are hands down, the best Bigfoot content on KZbin! In a recent video you mentioned that a certain family member of yours had used your work to turn folks in your family against you. I thought you should know that your work has brought certain estranged members of my family together. Thanks for all you do, and the example you set for young men and women everywhere. It's comforting in these strange times to know you're out there. I know many folks feel the same way I do. I sincerely hope at some point you get the wider recognition you deserve. I can't thank you enough.
